Competition Entry, Research & Feedback

To find out which suits your loved one best, tally up your A’s, B’s, C’s, D’s and E’s, from the Facebook Questions and the majority should point you in the right direction.

A)    The ‘Millennial’ - When you’re living your best life, your succulents need to match your social media. With a mix of cacti and corals, Pantone’s colour of 2019, this arrangement is a millennial’s dream. For those always ‘doing it for the gram’, be sure the lucky recipient takes a load of overhead shots for maximum effect.

B)    The ‘Eco-warrior’ - This person recycles, upcycles, reuses, and repurposes, saving the planet one step at a time. Matching their plastic-free ethos, this bouquet is packed with wild flowers and locally sourced stems. Never one to throw away anything that can be re-used, this bouquet is perfect to dry and press afterwards.

C)    The ‘Minimalist’ For the person hooked on minimalism documentaries on Netflix and close to donating all earthly possessions to their local charity shop, less is certainly more. The minimalist wants a plant with clean, sharp lines that screams style over substance. As long as it’s understated and matches the two other objects in the room, it works

D)   The ‘Romantic’ - This bouquet is for the fairy-tale dreamer that would rather be skipping through a sun-drenched field hand-in-hand with their beau than sat at a desk. A mixture of wild lavender, sweet pink roses, and vintage hues, this romantic will need reminding that they’re not actually living in a Jane Austen novel. Hello Mr Darcy.

E)   The ‘Classic’ - If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. For the one who values tradition, nothing beats the sentiment of a candlelit meal and receiving roses on Valentine’s Day. And what’s better than a dozen red roses? A dozen red roses paired with beautiful foliage and complimentary red tulips for a simple but classic bouquet.
