 FAQ

  • Q. How many stems will be in each delivery?

  • A. This depends on the price option, but each delivery may vary depending on the type of bloom we choose. Each delivery will be enough for at least one vase display.

  • Q. Can I choose specific flowers?

  • A. It is possible with prior agreement to request a certain type of flower if seasonal availability allows.

  • Q. Where do the flowers come from?

  • A. We source our flowers from major exporters based in the Netherlands - the global hub of the flower industry. We usually know exactly which grower they have come from and from which part of the world. If you’d like to learn more, just let us know - we are happy to share some floral world secrets!

  • Q. Do the flowers arrive delivered in water?

  • A. No, we will dry pack the blooms unless we feel the ambient temperature demands a little hydration. In which case we may use small water phials or specially made pouches to supply a little moisture for the stems.

  • Q. What vase will I need?

  • A. We recommend an urn shaped vase or cylinder vase. There is no wrong or right, and quite often flowers just look beautiful in any vessel!

  • Q. Will I need any special floristry tools to prepare the flowers?

  • A. Not really! We do recommend that the stems are re-cut using a sharp knife rather than blunt scissors, and our full care instructions will help explain the best way.

  • Q. What happens if I don’t like the flowers you send?

  • A. We hope this will never happen! We work closely with our suppliers and will always send flowers that are both pleasing and easy to care for. However, if there is a colour you are not too keen on, then just let us know and we will make sure you only have the colours you like.

  • Q. My flowers have been delivered but they look “dead”. What happens now?

  • A. We will never send out flowers that are past their “sell by date”. Occasionally flowers will need some re-hydration before they look their best. Full care instructions will be included. However, if there is a genuine quality issue, we will simply replace the flowers immediately.

  • Q. What can I do with all the packaging?

  • A. We use minimal packaging and it is all recyclable.

  • Q. Can I pause my Flower Subscription at any time?

  • A. Yes you can. Just contact us and we can reschedule your delivery for another day.

  • Q. When can I cancel my Flower Subscription?

  • A. Obviously we’d rather you didn’t and would encourage you to stay with us for at least 3 deliveries. However, you are free to cancel at any time. Just log in to your account to manage your subscription.

  • Q. Can I update my payment method?

  • A. If you log in to your account you can update your payment method there.

  • Q. Do you deliver the flowers nationally?

  • A. At the moment we are only delivering our Flower Subscriptions within our own local delivery area. We hope to roll this service out across the UK in 2021.

  • Q. How do you deliver the flowers?

  • A. We will use our own van for the deliveries. This way we know exactly where the flowers are! We are looking at alternatives for 2021 including delivery by bicycle wherever possible.

  • Q. Do you just deliver to home addresses?

  • A. We can deliver to pretty much anywhere that accepts flowers! Home, workplace, restaurants, hotels etc etc.

  • Q. Does someone need to be in to receive the flowers?

  • A. No - we can leave the flowers in a safe place as instructed by you. If weather conditions mean this is not possible we may return the flowers to the shop and redeliver once contacted.

  • Q. How do I pay for each delivery?

  • A. You pay as you go. Each new payment will be taken just before the allotted delivery day.

  • Q. Do you store my card details?

  • A. We don’t store your details. We use Stripe Payments for our online card processing who are certified PCI Service Provider Level 1 - the most rigorous level of payment security there is.
